It’s color challenge week at Create with Connie and Mary. I really like these colors by themselves, but wasn’t sure what to do with them combined. I just received my new stamping goodies for the Occasions catalog and after a bit of pondering, an idea came to me…and I ended up falling in LOVE with the colors, the stamp set I used and the Designer Series paper! I was actually inspired!
Stamp Set: Picture Perfect
Ink: Bermuda Bay, Pear Pizzazz, Blackberry Bliss, Memento Black
Paper: Bermuda Bay, Pear Pizazz, Wildflower Fields DSP (SAB), Vellum, Whisper White
Accessories: paper piercer and mat, Dimensionals
This is a card I will be sharing with my group of stampers! Very fun to make…LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the hummingbird! I can see that little bird done up in all sorts of colors! Now you head over to Create with Connie and Mary and try your luck! Can’t wait to see your creations!

I really love the colors, too! Your hummingbird is gorgeous! I didn’t get that set, but you’ve definitely made me re-think my decision! Great job with the color challenge!

Lisa, I love your colors. I have the set but I am having problems with getting all the parts of the hummingbird to line up. Any tricks, suggestions?

I line the edge of the wing and the tips of the tail up and that seems to make everything else lined up. Of course, you could always use the Stamp-a-ma-jig stamp positioner as well.
