CCMC386 Thinking of You at Christmas

It’s color challenge week at Create with Connie and Mary.  It’s a pretty one!  And, as a Christmas “gift” from Connie and Mary, this challenge will run for 2 weeks so we don’t have to worry about making sure we have a post on Christmas Eve.  Yay!!  I hope you’ll enjoy my post and have a very Merry Christmas with your families wherever they are!

Recognize this sketch?  Yep…last week’s sketch with this week’s color challenge…rockin’ the combos!  I had so much fun with the last sketch, I needed to do it again!  And I wanted to use some more of these great holiday products before they retire!

Stamp Set:  Embellished Ornaments

Ink:  JetBlack StazOn

Paper:  Basic Black, Whisper White, Winter Wonderland Specialty DSP, Black Glimmer paper, Gold Foil

Accessories:  1/8″ Gold taffeta ribbon, Delicate Ornament Thinlits, gold thread from Metallic Baker’s twine, Dimensionals, Everyday Chic washi tape, White Perfect Accents

The greeting is difficult for you to see in this photo, but in real life, the greeting jumps right off the gold and is easily seen.  I could not get the angle of the card to reflect this.  I just wanted you to know that it isn’t as confusing when you are holding the card in your hands.  I needed to use StazOn ink with this because the Winter Wonderland Specialty paper is slick with metallic accents…only the StazOn will work…it dries quicky and is smudge-proof.

Wishing you a Merry Christmas!  Head over to Create with Connie and Mary and play along with this 2 week challenge!  You deserve some ME time during the holidays!  Can’t wait to see what you do!
