CCMC312 Happy Blooming Birthday

It’s color challenge week at Create with Connie and Mary.  It’s no secret I don’t like purple!  But I do really like the new Blackberry Bliss color and that is part of this week’s challenge:

I had an idea for this color combination right away!  I had just gotten the new Flower Patch bundle from Stampin’ Up and was itching to use it!  It was perfect for this!

    • I am flattered you like my card. You my copy it for your own use, but I would appreciate it if you did not use it on your blog or post it to any other site.

  1. Beautiful card!! I love the three panels and the three papers you used in the background! I love how you used this stamp set too; it’s such a different look from the way I’ve been seeing it! Very smart!

  2. I feel the same way about Blackberry Bliss. It is a purple everyone can love! I love all of your layers and the layout in general. This is a wonderful card that emphasizes the small flowers in the stamp set.

  3. Great layout for patterned paper! Really highlights the paper nicely.. Love that you kept the leaves soft so the vibrant flowers can shine!

  4. Love your card Lisa. I would love to attempt making it. I read the blogs and of course I would not post mine anywhere (I wouldn’t have the guts!) I cannot seem to find the dimensions for cutting the panels. Where might I find them? I am new to the websites so forgive me if this is not posted in the proper area.
    Thank you, Gail

    • Thank you for your kind comments, Gail. Unfortunately, I do not have this card anymore to do any measurements 😦 Just start playing with sizes using typing paper so you don’t ruin your designer papers. I believe the designer paper was 1-1/8″ wide, but am not for certain.
