colourQ #71 & Mojo Monday #177 Never Too Many Purses!

People that know me, know that I like to get a new purse each season.  Silly, I know…I should use them until they wear out, but I love having the latest trend in purses.  I was just thinking the other day it was time for a new one!  BUT, instead of buying one, I created one…two…three!  LOL!  Well, not really, but sort of!  I love the colour Q color challenge for this week.  Here’s the inspiration piece and combo:

I used this week’s Mojo Monday sketch along with the colourQ color challenge to create this little number:

Isn’t it CUTE!?  I love how this turned out!  Very soft, very pink and very pursey! The colors are really more vibrant than the picture lets on…I’m a little disappointed about that.  It’s the best picture I could get.

Here’s the recipe:

Stamp Set: Best Yet

Ink: Early Espresso for greeting, Crumb Cake (Kraft) for sponging

Paper: Crumb Cake (Kraft), Blushing Bride, Whisper White, Pretty in Pink, Pink Pirouette, Patterns DSP in:  Crumb Cake, Blushing Bride, Pink Pirouette, Pretty in Pink

Accessories: rhinestones; 1/2″, 3/4″, 1-1/4″, 1-3/8″, 1-1/2″ circle punches, corner rounder, Pretty in Pink taffeta ribbon, sponge, Perfect Polka Dots embossing folder, dimensionals, Build a Cupcake punch

Here’s a little close up of the purses:

Enjoy!

  1. Such a great use for the cupcake punch. I am so excited as I have it on order and due any day!! What to make first – a cupcake or a purse???? Awesome colors, too – my favorites!
